The Vatican, The Cosmos and The Aliens

There is no doubt that the Vatican has a long standing interest in Astronomy. Much of its research of the Cosmos has been directed at the Vatican Observatory in Italy, with several offsite locations elsewhere in the world – like the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope in Arizona.

In 2008, Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory actually said that the vastness of the universe means it is possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth, even intelligent ones.  In an interview published by the Vatican newspaper, Funes said that such a notion “doesn’t contradict our faith” because Aliens would still be God’s creatures. You can probably google this information to read more about it, but I am simply flowing through the series I have started with our “Divine Council” and the half-bred offspring we talked about the last 2 articles.

Before continuing, I’d like to share that much of my interest has been influenced by the work of some scholars like (1) Michael Heiser, Phd (Hebrew Bible and Ancient History) (2) John McRay, Phd (Archeology) and I also follow (3) Peter Goodgame’s work on Bible prophecies. Peter however as I have learned is not really a scholar with a PhD on his last name but an ordinary carpenter in Hawaii who just happens to be a big fan of Jesus.

Now, the reason I mention all these people is to show you where my thought process are coming from. I think when you read books about Ancient history, ancient archeology, the Bible of course, and then add a taste of prophetic analysis to it, you pretty much obtain a glimpse of the future, be able to understand why our world is what it is right now, and then you think and pause, then end up whispering His name “Jesus”. As a recommended reading, I will suggest The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel.

Alright now going back, quite frankly, if The Vatican has been observing the cosmos since the late 18th century, I am positive that they have enormous data but will not disclose everything that they see. The United States, one of the most advance observer and most famous for its UFO sightings – has its own policy on what or what not to be made “public”. Ancient structures like the Egyptian pyramid, the Stonehenge and the Mayan Pyramids, according to scholars, reveals intriguing correlation with some constellations in the cosmos.

In my last article, I did assumed that the survivors of the great flood of Noah where lifted up into the cosmos by the fallen council of God – those that made wives and bore half-bred offspring. Now of course this is not biblical, but if these aliens were responsible in shaping some of our history, then definitely they are worth investigating. Additionally, since they may be possibly the offspring of God’s fallen council, I will then convince you that they – although highly intelligent, are evil. I will agree with Rev. Funes that they may be God’s creatures, but so was the fallen council and Satan himself.

In ending, we all have heard about alien abductions and mysterious disappearances of aircrafts and ships in our history. Although this phenomenon can be partly explained, some believe that this is alien. In my personal opinion, whether or not it is good or a bad thing and even if they are highly advanced and more intelligent, to me it’s a violation of the basic human rights.
